Context

Plasma Additive Laboratories was a startup I founded focused on developing welding robots capable of 3D metal printing using CNC-based plasma arc welding.

Problem

The hardware team had built the physical robots but needed a complete software suite to control them — from low-level machine control to a user-facing desktop application.

Approach

I engineered the entire software stack from scratch: a real-time machine control system, a desktop application for operators, and a backend API. I collaborated closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
